Regulatory Situation



WILD includes advice regarding declaration according to the current food law. For the European Union's Health Claims Regulation, the WILD legal department can provide advice on Fruit Up® declarations and promotional claims.

Fruit Up® allows the following declarations
for an EU ingredient list:

  • Fruit extracts
  • Sugars from fruits
  • Fruit sugar syrup

    • Fruit Up® allows the following promotional
    on-package claims:

  • Sweetened with natural fruit extracts
  • With sweetness from fruits
  • Sweetened with 100% fruits
  • Sweetened with natural sugar from fruits
  • Sweetened with sugars from fruits with low GI
  • Contains carbohydrates with a low GI
